CHARITY NIGHT FOR THE ORPHAN HOMES

This spirit of sharing and caring for others had been manifested by the committee of the 28th anniversary of MIN Malang I in the form of CHARITY NIGHT on September 7, 2007. The program was aimed at collecting fund to help 3 orphan homes; Salman Orphan home, …., and … . Students paintings and teachers’ arts performance were among things being offered on auction that night. The program had successfully collected no less than 9 million rupiahs. The fund was directly donated to the representatives of the orphan homes. The school hoped that this occasion would provide students with experiences of doing something for others. Also donated during the CHARITY NIGHT were school equipments, cookies, and other goodies collected by students during the CHARITY WEEK preceding the CHARITY NIGHT.
