THE 2006/2007 STUDY TOUR FOR GRADE 5 STUDENTS

Thursday, April 19th, 2007 at 7 p.m. MIN Malang I was very crowded with vehicles and parents as well. Unlike any other evenings, parents gathered in front of the school as they were waiting for the buses to arrive. The parents were waiting for the 5th graders to arrive from their study tour programme which was held on April 16 - 19, 2007. The study tour which was aimed at providing students with real experiences of the subjects they had studied in class, were held in various places in Jakarta. Among those places were Purna Bhakti Pertiwi Museum, Bayt Al-Qur'an, Science and Technology Museum, Keong Emas Imax Theatre, Sea World, Istiqlal Mosque, and Nusantara Flower Garden. It is expected that by doing so the students will gain some experiences along the way about applying theories and other knowledge they have studied in class. In this annual programme, the students were accompanied by 18 teachers and 1 doctor.
